Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Deliver direct client care using evidence-based mental health and substance abuse treatment modalities.
- Provide crisis intervention, therapeutic services, and group counseling to individuals and families.
- Document client assessments and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate care with social services, criminal justice, and education systems to support client needs.
- Conduct consultations and attend case reviews to develop actionable plans for clients.
- Meet program targets and quality metrics through effective case management and reporting.
- Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling and support services.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss client progress and program goals.
Job Requirements
- Master of Social Work degree with LMSW or LCSW certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment.
- Experience working with clients involved in the criminal justice system preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Bengali preferred.
- Strong documentation and case note skills, including prioritization and assessments.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of approximately 35 clients per week.
- Military background is a plus.
