Overview
- Support individuals in developing skills to promote community living and enhance social, emotional, and educational development.
- Provide rehabilitation interventions and hands-on training to build developmentally appropriate skills in home and community environments.
- Assist individuals in improving self-management of symptoms and developing daily living competencies.
- Promote coping strategies and effective functioning within social environments through tailored interventions.
- Work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults, in a hybrid work arrangement.
- Collaborate with individuals to achieve personal goals and foster inclusion and integration within the community.
- Document services provided accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Participate in new hire orientation and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide individualized rehabilitation interventions and training to build skills for community living.
- Support individuals in re-establishing social skills and achieving developmentally appropriate functioning.
- Assist with social and interpersonal skills development, including communication and anger management.
- Facilitate coping strategies and promote effective functioning within social environments.
- Document services provided accurately and timely using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with diverse social, cultural, and economic groups to deliver tailored interventions.
- Work with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings to provide comprehensive support.
- Participate in team-based approaches to deliver effective psychiatric rehabilitation services.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in behavioral health settings, including mental health, addiction, or foster care services.
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) and trained in Individual Placement and Support Model preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Multi-System Family Treatment is an advantage.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to manage fluid caseloads averaging 20 individuals.
- Flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement with in-person and remote days.
