Overview

  • Serve as a key partner to the CFO, contributing to financial strategy and operational excellence within a dynamic and innovative organization.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making processes.
  • Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to align financial goals with organizational objectives and growth strategies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance and optimize resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards in financial operations.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and projects to support organizational growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist the CFO in managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Oversee compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance financial systems and processes within the organization.
  • Support fundraising efforts and investor relations activities as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management or related roles; 4 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience with financial systems and tools for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with 2-3 days in Midtown.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
