Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic team responsible for supporting trading, investment, and reporting activities within a leading financial services firm.
  • Contribute to scalable investment workflows, controlled operating environments, and high-quality client service delivery.
  • Work closely with upper management and internal/external groups, ensuring articulate communication and accountability.
  • Engage in the calculation and oversight of client management and performance fees, emphasizing control frameworks and automation.
  • Assist in performance return calculations for various investment vehicles, adhering to GIPS standards.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of fee and performance processes within the firm.
  • Collaborate with business development, portfolio management, operations, and compliance teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Participate in interactions with GIPS Verification Firms to maintain updated and verified composite reports.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Calculate and oversee client management and performance fees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Focus on enhancing control frameworks, operational efficiency, and automation within processes.
  • Assist in calculating performance returns for diverse investment vehicles, adhering to GIPS standards.
  • Develop and enhance fee and performance processes, contributing to organizational growth and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as business development, portfolio management, and compliance.
  • Maintain and update composite reports through regular interactions with GIPS Verification Firms.
  • Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity when handling client information and data.
  • Participate in firm-wide projects and operational due diligence initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in performance analytics or related areas.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities, with a mathematics-focused background preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and adaptability to various software packages.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage confidential client information responsibly.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with GIPS standards and verification processes is advantageous.
