Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage engineering projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and milestone tracking.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and document findings for project planning.
- Prepare detailed project reports, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
- Oversee the creation of construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit software.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout project phases.
- Attend project-related meetings, including design reviews and construction planning.
- Provide guidance during construction administration, ensuring adherence to plans.
- Develop and enforce technical standards and policies within the engineering department.
- Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering professional growth and expertise.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Licensed Professional Engineer with HVAC design expertise preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with 15 years preferred, including team management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software like Trane Trace or Carrier HAP.
- Experience with public and private commercial, educational, and institutional projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and public bidding procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and develop client relationships.
