Overview

  • Serve as an Assistant Superintendent for a leading builder/developer, focusing on commercial and healthcare construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient execution and adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing on-site construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in overseeing daily construction site operations to ensure project efficiency and safety compliance.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues promptly to maintain schedules.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Implement quality control measures to meet project specifications and standards.
  • Support the Superintendent in managing project budgets and resource allocation.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction management or related roles; 15 years preferred.
  • Proven experience with commercial and healthcare construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in employee stock ownership programs (ESOP) is a plus.
