Job Description

Overview

  • Lead mechanical engineering projects remotely, utilizing expertise in system layout and design with minimal supervision.
  • Perform engineering calculations and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and procedures.
  • Resolve project-related conflicts and problems using practical knowledge and experience.
  • Supervise and mentor subordinate personnel, fostering professional growth and high standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to discuss design scope, schedule, budget, and review issues.
  • Prepare design budgets and schedules, estimating man-hours required for project completion.
  • Ensure quality assurance and perform final reviews of engineering drawings.
  • Engage in client contact and maintain professional integrity in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform engineering calculations and design systems adhering to established policies and codes.
  • Apply practical knowledge to resolve project conflicts and make independent decisions.
  • Supervise designers and ensure timely project completion within budget.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Proficiency in REVIT, engineering modeling tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of discipline-specific codes and building codes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel resources and motivate teams effectively.
