Overview

  • Lead architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to design standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative commercial and municipal architectural solutions.
  • Utilize CAD and Revit software for drafting, design, and project documentation.
  • Manage renovation and ground-up construction projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain a hybrid work schedule, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
  • Contribute to the transition from CAD to Revit for enhanced project workflows.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored architectural solutions.
  • Support junior team members and recent graduates in developing their drafting and design skills.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop detailed architectural designs for commercial and municipal projects, including fire stations and retail spaces.
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings using CAD and Revit software.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet client expectations.
  • Facilitate the transition from CAD to Revit for improved design processes.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Mentor junior architects and drafters, fostering professional growth and skill development.
  • Stay updated on architectural trends and technologies to enhance project outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of architectural experience; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in CAD and Revit software for drafting and design.
  • Experience in commercial and municipal architecture projects, including renovations and new constructions.
  • Strong project management skills, including timeline and budget oversight.
  • Ability to work on-site with occasional remote flexibility.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with transitioning design workflows from CAD to Revit.
