Assistant Project Manager – Ground Up Construction

Overview

• Assist in managing ground-up construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Support the project manager in overseeing construction activities and resolving on-site challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports and progress updates.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns effectively.
• Participate in project planning and strategy meetings to align objectives and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance metrics and recommend improvements where necessary.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate daily construction operations, ensuring alignment with project plans and schedules.
• Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support budget management by tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and compliance with specifications.

• Prepare and present project updates to management and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ground-up construction project management.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Preferred certifications in project management or construction safety.
