Overview
- Lead the financial reporting and technical accounting functions within a global organization, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.
- Provide strategic insights and accurate financial data to support decision-making processes across all organizational levels.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent corporate compliance and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management to align reporting activities with strategic objectives and organizational goals.
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements, including footnote disclosures, operating metrics, and management discussion and analysis.
- Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information disclosed in statutory reports.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
- Lead and manage a global reporting team, fostering professional development and maintaining effective reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and implement reporting frameworks and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Lead the annual budgeting process and oversee financial forecasting activities.
- Act as the senior point of contact for external auditors during statutory audits, providing necessary documentation and responses.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to align reporting and accounting activities with organizational objectives.
- Identify areas for improvement in reporting processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Chartered Accountant certification required, MBA preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting/auditing experience, with 5 years managing global teams and multiple entities.
- Expert knowledge of IFRS standards, technical accounting rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong financial planning and analysis capabilities, including forecasting and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday and travel as needed.
- Effective team leadership and collaboration skills, fostering an inclusive environment.
