Job Description

Overview

  • Manage private equity and venture capital deal closings, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counterparts to streamline transaction processes.
  • Provide operational support for process queries and application of policies across departments.
  • Drive initiatives to harmonize workflows across international and internal silos.
  • Work closely with teams in New York and provide coverage for corresponding strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage documentation processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business infrastructure plans.
  • Leverage data and emerging technologies to provide actionable insights to investment teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead deal closings with stakeholders, including legal, tax, finance, and accounting teams.
  • Project manage deal-related matters such as timelines, corporate actions, and document management.
  • Act as the main contact for external parties, handling KYC/AML clearances and queries.
  • Facilitate transaction document reviews and manage issues lists effectively.
  • Drive departmental initiatives to streamline workflows across internal and international teams.
  • Provide operational support for process queries and policy applications.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Transaction Management Team.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure successful implementation of business infrastructural plans.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in investment documentation, structuring, and operations.
  • Strong understanding of private equity, venture capital, and alternative investments.
  • Familiarity with documentation practices, financial risks, and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
  • Self-starter with minimal oversight and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and data analytics in investment management.
