Overview
- Provide administrative and clerical support to academic departments, focusing on the Registrar’s Office.
- Assist with student record management, course scheduling, and data entry within the student information system.
- Coordinate communication regarding academic policies, deadlines, and registration processes.
- Support transcript requests, transfer credit evaluations, and degree audits as required.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Maintain filing systems ensuring compliance with institutional and FERPA standards.
- Assist in coordinating academic events, meetings, and departmental projects.
- Provide front-line support to students and staff, handling inquiries professionally.
- Collaborate on process improvements and data accuracy initiatives within the Registrar’s Office.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage student records and ensure accurate data entry in the student information system.
- Coordinate communication between faculty, staff, and students on academic matters.
- Support academic scheduling and registration processes.
- Prepare and maintain institutional correspondence and reports.
- Maintain compliance with FERPA standards in record management.
- Assist in organizing academic events and departmental meetings.
- Provide professional and confidential support to students and staff inquiries.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; associate degree with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in higher education.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management systems.
- Experience with Banner, PeopleSoft, or similar student information systems is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with registrar operations is preferred.
