Overview

  • Lead the design and execution of healthcare projects from conceptualization to completion.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
  • Develop innovative design solutions adhering to healthcare standards and regulations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals.
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, implementing strategies to address deviations.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to requirements.
  • Provide mentorship to junior architects, fostering professional growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead all phases of healthcare projects, including design and project administration.
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors for cohesive project outcomes.
  • Ensure designs comply with healthcare codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Develop and present innovative solutions meeting functional and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and review detailed project documentation including drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets and schedules effectively.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting team development.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • 5-10 years of professional experience in healthcare architecture projects.
  • Current architectural license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare design standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.
  • LEED accreditation or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with advanced BIM methodologies and project management tools.
