Overview

  • Manage scheduling for large-scale government or commercial construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
  • Analyze project progress and identify potential delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project milestones and deliverables.
  • Utilize scheduling software to create and update project schedules effectively.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project status to management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in construction scheduling.
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying scheduling risks and proposing mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure accurate schedule planning.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential scheduling conflicts or delays.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, with 12 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess project progress and identify potential issues.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Experience managing schedules for large government or commercial construction projects.
