Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Associate in a dynamic accounting and advisory firm, providing comprehensive financial services to diverse clients.
  • Coordinate service activities and oversee staff accountants, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery of client accounting services.
  • Engage directly with clients, maintaining strong relationships and acting as their primary point of contact for financial matters.
  • Utilize expertise in QuickBooks Online and other financial tools to streamline processes and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to month-end close processes, financial reporting, and analysis to support client decision-making.
  • Assist with consolidations, foreign currency translations, and compliance with various accounting standards.
  • Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities for clients.
  • Participate in client onboarding and implementation of accounting software solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee accounting services, ensuring compliance with client expectations and industry standards.
  • Review general ledger postings, accounts payable, and payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators.
  • Support the FP&A team in budgeting and forecasting activities for clients.
  • Maintain ongoing client relationships, serving as their primary contact for accounting services.
  • Implement and optimize accounting software solutions, including QuickBooks Online and Bill.com.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to staff accountants, fostering professional growth and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
  • CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in client accounting or outsourced CFO services.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with Bill.com and FP&A software preferred.
  • Experience in industries such as technology, real estate, and professional services is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
