Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide operational oversight to nursing departments ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures aligned with best practices.
  • Monitor and improve clinical outcomes through quality initiatives.
  • Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and retention strategies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address patient care challenges effectively.
  • Manage budgets and ensure operational efficiency within nursing services.
  • Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory standards.
  • Promote professional development and leadership growth among nursing staff.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration (MHA), or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Certification in nursing leadership (e.g., CNML, NE-BC, NEA-BC) preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing administration.
  • Strong knowledge of hospital operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in budget management and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and hospital management systems.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to foster teamwork.
