Job Description
Overview
- Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, across multiple business segments.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Develop and maintain FP&A infrastructure, ensuring consistency in performance metrics and reporting standards.
- Prepare board materials and corporate-level strategic insights in partnership with the CEO and CFO.
- Support M&A evaluations and investment decisions, leading strategic financial projects.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, data accuracy, and business acumen within the organization.
- Contribute to broader finance and executive leadership team initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and implement forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans across business segments.
- Provide financial decision support through modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis.
- Prepare quarterly and annual earnings materials for debt providers and the board of directors.
- Lead standardized forecasting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with supply chain and business segment leaders to synthesize financial data into actionable insights.
- Implement financial planning systems and ensure adherence to financial policies and standards.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects aimed at driving growth and operational improvements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance; CPA, CMA, and/or CFA certifications are advantageous.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with financial modeling, scenario planning, and delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.
- Exposure to ERP systems, preferably Infor M3, and financial planning system implementation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex data.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; occasional travel required.
