Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, across multiple business segments.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to provide strategic financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and maintain FP&A infrastructure, ensuring consistency in performance metrics and reporting standards.
  • Prepare board materials and corporate-level strategic insights in partnership with the CEO and CFO.
  • Support M&A evaluations and investment decisions, leading strategic financial projects.
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, data accuracy, and business acumen within the organization.
  • Contribute to broader finance and executive leadership team initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement forecasts, annual budgets, and long-range plans across business segments.
  • Provide financial decision support through modeling, scenario planning, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual earnings materials for debt providers and the board of directors.
  • Lead standardized forecasting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and business segment leaders to synthesize financial data into actionable insights.
  • Implement financial planning systems and ensure adherence to financial policies and standards.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and projects aimed at driving growth and operational improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance; CPA, CMA, and/or CFA certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with financial modeling, scenario planning, and delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, preferably Infor M3, and financial planning system implementation.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment; occasional travel required.
