Overview
- Provide medical leadership and direction for clinical development programs focusing on respiratory and inflammatory diseases.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and supervise clinical strategies and plans.
- Act as the primary medical resource for clinical studies and lead medical monitoring efforts.
- Ensure compliance with safety and medical standards in clinical trials.
- Contribute to protocol development and amendments for clinical studies.
- Engage with key opinion leaders and build relationships to support product development.
- Support investor relations by participating in meetings and preparing materials.
- Lead post-market authorization efforts to integrate products into standard practices.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise medical and safety conduct of clinical studies and oversee statistical analysis and reporting.
- Develop and amend clinical trial protocols and related documents in collaboration with leadership.
- Train study staff on protocols and support site and investigator selection.
- Oversee study data and address inquiries from stakeholders regarding clinical indications.
- Build relationships with key opinion leaders and develop product champions.
- Provide updates to the Board of Directors and investors on clinical progress.
- Support market authorization processes and integrate products into standard practices.
- Collaborate with CROs and ensure effective clinical trial management.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a focus on respiratory or NICU background.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical trial and medical leadership.
- Proficiency in drug development and experience working with CROs.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to engage with key opinion leaders and build professional relationships.
- Experience in statistical analysis and reporting for clinical studies.
- Knowledge of market authorization processes and post-market integration strategies.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise clinical development programs effectively.
