Overview
- Serve as a key liaison between design and technical execution in architectural projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success from concept to construction.
- Utilize technical proficiency to refine architectural details and ensure constructability.
- Engage with clients to understand goals and present design solutions effectively.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
- Contribute to construction administration by managing RFIs and conducting site visits.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Work in a hybrid setting, combining remote and onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead the development of construction documents aligned with design objectives and client requirements.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and collaboration.
- Participate in client meetings to present solutions and incorporate feedback.
- Review architectural details for constructability and adherence to standards.
- Ensure documentation compliance with codes, zoning, and accessibility regulations.
- Assist in construction phases, responding to RFIs and conducting site visits.
- Utilize Revit and other tools for design and documentation purposes.
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3–7 years of professional architectural experience.
- Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, and detailing.
- Knowledge of local building codes and ADA requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Architectural licensure or active pursuit thereof is preferred.
