Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations at a state-of-the-art multi-specialty surgery center.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accrediting bodies.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to develop and enhance surgical services.
  • Manage clinical departments and supervise contracted services.
  • Oversee financial performance and operational budgets.
  • Promote quality improvement initiatives and infection control programs.
  • Foster positive relationships among staff, physicians, and patients.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Ensure efficient staffing levels based on surgical case volume.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth functioning.
  • Serve as liaison between governing board, medical staff, and departments.
  • Monitor compliance with internal controls and purchasing plans.
  • Negotiate external contracts and establish procedure pricing standards.
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and implement orientation and training programs for staff.
  • Collaborate with medical director to evaluate surgical services.
  • Administer quality improvement and infection control programs.
  • Represent the facility in corporate administrative meetings.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical leadership; 5 years preferred.
  • Executive-level experience in ambulatory surgery center operations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and accrediting bodies.
  • Proficiency in financial management and operational budgeting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
