Overview

  • Contribute to a dynamic finance team within a leading financial services firm.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial operations and reporting practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
  • Collaborate with departments to validate financial data and ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate financial statement fluctuations and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare audit schedules and respond to external audit inquiries.
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and simplification.
  • Implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience in financial services or similar environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis tools.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial information.
