Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Lead the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Collaborate with departments to validate financial data and ensure accuracy.
- Investigate financial statement fluctuations and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare audit schedules and respond to external audit inquiries.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and simplification.
- Implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification preferred.
- 8–12 years of progressive accounting experience in financial services or similar environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial information.
