Job Description

Overview

  • Lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement construction strategies and plans.
  • Oversee on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure effective communication between stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports for internal and external use.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve project goals.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address issues proactively.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and clients.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures on-site.
  • Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management; 15 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work on-site and travel as required for project needs.
  • Director-level experience in overseeing construction operations is highly desirable.
