  • Lead tax strategy and compliance for a dynamic organization, ensuring adherence to Federal and multistate regulations.
  • Collaborate with partners and engagement teams to deliver exceptional tax planning solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor staff, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Research complex Federal, state, and cross-border tax issues to provide accurate guidance.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes for reviewing tax returns and client communication.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of tax laws to optimize client outcomes and compliance.
  • Contribute to organizational growth through strategic tax initiatives and leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review complex Federal and multistate tax returns for individuals and business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate directly with clients to gather necessary information and provide tax-related guidance.
  • Conduct in-depth research on Federal, state, and cross-border tax issues to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with partners and engagement teams to develop and execute tax planning strategies.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high-quality performance and professional growth.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to prepare reports and manage documentation effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, maintaining the organization's reputation for excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is mandatory for management-level staff.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax management, with 15 years preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Proven ability to research and resolve complex tax issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in mentoring and supervising staff.
