Job Description

Overview

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Coordinate month-end close processes and review monthly NAV for accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze complex investor allocations and PE-style waterfalls to ensure precision.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for management, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee external administrators to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage audit processes, liaising with auditors and ensuring compliance with financial standards.
  • Evaluate and perform various internal control functions to ensure financial integrity.
  • Participate in special projects to support organizational goals and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and execute month-end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review and analyze complex investor allocations and waterfall calculations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management, investors, and regulatory compliance.
  • Supervise external administrators to ensure effective collaboration and operations.
  • Liaise with auditors during audit processes and oversee financial statement preparation.
  • Evaluate internal controls and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Contribute to special projects and initiatives to support organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and deliver results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a strong academic track record.
  • 3-6 years of experience in public accounting or asset management firms.
  • CPA and/or CFA certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Commitment to process improvements and attention to detail.
