Facilities Manager

Overview

• Lead facilities and fleet management operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for facilities and fleet management.
• Oversee maintenance and operations of residential, office buildings, and fleet vehicles.
• Manage vendor relationships and supervise maintenance staff to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.
• Develop and manage budgets for facilities and fleet operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Participate in safety committees to promote a secure working environment.
• Contribute to ongoing construction projects and oversee renovations as needed.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate schedules, payroll, and task assignments.
• Manage fleet operations, including acquisition, maintenance, and compliance monitoring.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs.
• Conduct quality control and safety inspections of facilities and fleet equipment.
• Prepare and implement long-term plans for operational efficiency and resource allocation.
• Maintain detailed cost management records and ensure profitability of operations.
• Monitor inventory control for tools, materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide oversight for construction projects and renovations as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in facilities and fleet management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and mobile technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Experience with OPWDD building code requirements is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to travel to various facilities as required.
• Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA compliance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and stakeholder engagement.
