Overview
- Lead facilities and fleet management operations across multiple locations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans for facilities and fleet management.
- Oversee maintenance and operations of residential, office buildings, and fleet vehicles.
- Manage vendor relationships and supervise maintenance staff to ensure timely project completion.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Develop and manage budgets for facilities and fleet operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in safety committees to promote a secure working environment.
- Contribute to ongoing construction projects and oversee renovations as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate schedules, payroll, and task assignments.
- Manage fleet operations, including acquisition, maintenance, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee maintenance requests and coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs.
- Conduct quality control and safety inspections of facilities and fleet equipment.
- Prepare and implement long-term plans for operational efficiency and resource allocation.
- Maintain detailed cost management records and ensure profitability of operations.
- Monitor inventory control for tools, materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Provide oversight for construction projects and renovations as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in facilities and fleet management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and mobile technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Experience with OPWDD building code requirements is preferred.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to travel to various facilities as required.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations, including OSHA compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and stakeholder engagement.
