Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Plan, organize, and evaluate services delivered by the Adult Critical Care departments.
- Coordinate nursing care activities in conformance with recognized techniques and procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with staff and leadership to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and recommend policies to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other disciplines to achieve patient care excellence.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
- Utilize advanced medical facilities and technologies to optimize patient outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care leadership experience in Critical Care; 5 years preferred.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- CCRN and/or CNRN certifications preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies enhancing patient care quality and efficiency.
- Experience with advanced healthcare technologies and facilities.
