Data Engineer

Overview

• Contribute to the development of scalable data infrastructure for client reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sophisticated client insights at scale.
• Design and implement data pipelines using modern orchestration frameworks and tools.
• Develop APIs and automation solutions to enhance client-specific data access and reporting.
• Leverage cloud data platforms and analytical frameworks to support client portfolio analytics.
• Ensure data quality and validation for client-facing deliverables.
• Participate in the integration of third-party SaaS platforms for enhanced reporting capabilities.
• Document technical designs and maintain architectural consistency across solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and build data pipelines using Airflow and dbt to automate reporting processes.
• Develop API wrappers and services for client-specific data access and configuration.
• Collaborate with software development teams to create tailored applications for analytics.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
• Build automation frameworks to reduce manual effort in reporting workflows.
• Develop reusable analytical frameworks for client portfolio insights using Python.
• Integrate with third-party SaaS platforms to deliver client materials efficiently.
• Establish best practices for maintainable and scalable client reporting solutions.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience in data engineering and automation.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering and analysis.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks like Airflow and data transformation tools like dbt.
• Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).
• Knowledge of API consumption and integration with enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Background in financial services or client-facing analytics is preferred.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
