Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft and review leases, purchase agreements, financing documents, and other legal instruments for real estate transactions.
- Conduct due diligence, including title and survey reviews, environmental assessments, and contingency monitoring.
- Manage closing processes, including documentation, wire transfers, and post-closing administration.
- Assist in developer agreements, ensuring compliance and approval of conditions for disbursements.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to deliver exceptional client service and project outcomes.
- Provide legal advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and client orientation in all tasks.
Job Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as an attorney specializing in commercial real estate transactions.
- Active MD Bar license required; VA and/or DC Bar license preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel for effective document management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
