Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting and financial management for family entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support strategic reporting, cash flow analysis, and special projects for the Founder.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for tax preparation and estate planning.
  • Maintain investment tracking and reporting for General Partners and other entities.
  • Provide advanced reporting and analytics using modern technology tools.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and covenant requirements.
  • Contribute to philanthropic planning and charitable entity administration.
  • Participate in estate planning, risk management, and financial strategy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Maintain accurate net worth statements and reconcile financial accounts weekly.
  • Process expenses, invoices, and transfers, ensuring timely bill payments.
  • Track capital calls, distributions, and valuations for private investments.
  • Prepare financial summaries and dashboards for executive visibility.
  • Assist in collecting due diligence materials for new investments.
  • Support compliance preclearance, transaction entry, and quarterly reporting.
  • Coordinate insurance, compliance, and operational needs with stakeholders.
  • Maintain entity tracking and documentation for financial activities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 4–7 years of experience in public accounting, family office, or private wealth management.
  • Proficiency in Excel; Python experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and entity structures.
  • Familiarity with private equity or alternative investments preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential financial matters.
  • Proactive mindset with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
