Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage surgical nursing services, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies to enhance service quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive healthcare delivery.
  • Oversee infection prevention strategies and maintain safety standards.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for nursing staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient care plans for effectiveness and adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Job Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing in the state of Michigan.
  • BLS certification required; advanced certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer systems for record keeping and data analysis.
