Overview

• Lead and manage surgical nursing services, ensuring optimal patient care and staff performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Supervise nursing staff and ancillary personnel to ensure quality care delivery.

• Facilitate staff participation in shared governance and decision-making processes.
• Evaluate and improve nursing care plans and patient treatment protocols.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical and supervisory nursing experience.
• Current RN license in good standing in the state of Michigan.
• BLS certification required; advanced certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in computer systems for record keeping and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage infection prevention and compliance with safety standards.
• Experience in budget planning and resource management preferred.
