Job Description

Overview

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market intelligence, and customer input.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business strategies and financial targets.
  • Utilize advanced forecasting techniques and AI-driven tools to enhance accuracy and reduce bias.
  • Monitor and improve forecast accuracy metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Balance inventory investment targets with service level goals across distribution centers.
  • Support procurement and production teams with timely demand signals for proactive planning.
  • Develop and distribute demand reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and inventory turnover.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and product lifecycle data for demand planning.
  • Present monthly forecasts and variance analyses during S&OP meetings.
  • Monitor inventory health metrics and support procurement in managing supplier constraints.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain leadership to improve working capital efficiency.
  • Communicate forecast changes and demand surges to stakeholders across departments.
  • Partner with IT and ERP teams to enhance data integrity and forecasting automation.
  • Utilize analytics and BI tools to visualize forecast accuracy and inventory trends.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives focused on forecasting automation and data accuracy.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning or related roles.
  • Proficiency in advanced forecasting techniques and AI-driven tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills to present forecasts and analyses.
  • Experience in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role.
