Job Description

Overview

  • Lead safety management for ground-up construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to implement effective safety protocols and procedures.
  • Provide expert guidance on safety measures for stadium and entertainment projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety practices and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and industry best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate safety performance, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability among project teams.
  • Manage safety training programs and certifications for construction personnel.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans for construction projects.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with project managers to address safety concerns effectively.
  • Deliver safety training sessions to enhance workforce knowledge and skills.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of full-time safety experience in construction.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification preferred.
  • Completion of OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety course required.
  • Proven expertise in safety management for large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
