Overview
- Join a dynamic investment firm as an Investor Relations professional, contributing to client engagement and portfolio management strategies.
- Collaborate with portfolio managers and quantitative teams to enhance performance reporting and marketing materials.
- Engage in creating and distributing periodic factsheets and performance commentary for hedge fund strategies.
- Support client servicing through reporting, onboarding, and addressing inquiries on performance and positioning.
- Prepare presentation materials for investors and prospects, including detailed questionnaires and reports.
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials and research papers, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Participate in client meetings, providing essential materials and insights to the business development team.
- Maintain and update firm snapshots and standard documentation for internal and external use.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to write periodic performance commentary and assist in factsheet generation.
- Provide quantitative teams with attribution data and regressions for monthly reporting.
- Edit and finalize monthly commentary and maintain marketing materials for hedge fund strategies.
- Create ad-hoc analyses on portfolio performance and exposure, editing research paper content.
- Generate content for client communications, including performance summaries and talking points.
- Respond to client requests regarding performance, positioning, and terms, ensuring timely and accurate servicing.
- Prepare materials for investor presentations and complete detailed questionnaires for prospects.
- Support client onboarding processes and oversee intra-month and month-end flows.
- Maintain and update firm documentation, including quarterly snapshots and standard DDQs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in investment management or related roles; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in creating and managing marketing materials and client communications.
- Strong analytical skills for portfolio performance analysis and reporting.
- Experience with client servicing, including onboarding and responding to inquiries.
- Ability to prepare detailed questionnaires and presentation materials for investors.
- Knowledge of hedge fund strategies and investment products is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for managing diverse responsibilities.
