Job Description

Overview

  • Manage financial, tax, and investor reporting for investment funds and corporate entities.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer to build financial infrastructure for the platform.
  • Ensure compliance with Limited Partnership Agreements and investor side letters.
  • Develop and maintain budgets for funds and co-investments.
  • Forecast capital calls and distributions based on portfolio company performance.
  • Oversee third-party administrators, valuation firms, and accounting/tax firms.
  • Manage transactional accounting activities, expense allocations, and payments.
  • Document and implement repeatable processes for financial operations.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives led by the CFO.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure timely tax compliance and reporting for all entities.
  • Coordinate year-end audits with external auditors.
  • Maintain and update complex investor waterfall calculations.
  • Collaborate with the investment team on financial forecasting.
  • Monitor and manage expense allocations and monthly payments.
  • Build efficient and scalable financial processes and procedures.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CFO.
  • Ensure adherence to financial reporting deadlines and standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; 7 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing audits and working with third-party administrators.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and budgeting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
