Overview
- Lead accounting operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international offices to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting.
- Provide strategic vision and leadership to the accounting team, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and enforce accounting guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely financial data management.
- Support audit, tax, and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and optimize accounting systems, including Aderant, Blackline, and Concur platforms.
- Work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to align accounting strategies with organizational goals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee general ledger, inter-company transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Manage month-end processes and support audit, tax, and treasury functions.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and international tax requirements.
- Provide technical assistance in accounting systems and internal controls.
- Develop and enforce accounting guidelines and policies.
- Train and motivate the accounting team to achieve high-quality results.
- Collaborate with managers to provide necessary financial data for decision-making.
- Coordinate internal and external audits of financial statements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred. CPA certification is advantageous.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including U.S. and international transactions.
- 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in professional services or law firms.
- Proficiency in accounting systems such as Aderant, Blackline, and Concur.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
- Advanced technical and analytical skills with strategic vision for process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
