Job Description

Overview

  • Lead accounting operations for a dynamic organization, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and international standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international offices to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting.
  • Provide strategic vision and leadership to the accounting team, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and enforce accounting guidelines, ensuring accurate and timely financial data management.
  • Support audit, tax, and treasury functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and optimize accounting systems, including Aderant, Blackline, and Concur platforms.
  • Work closely with the CFO and senior leadership to align accounting strategies with organizational goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee general ledger, inter-company transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end processes and support audit, tax, and treasury functions.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and international tax requirements.
  • Provide technical assistance in accounting systems and internal controls.
  • Develop and enforce accounting guidelines and policies.
  • Train and motivate the accounting team to achieve high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with managers to provide necessary financial data for decision-making.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits of financial statements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred. CPA certification is advantageous.
  • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, including U.S. and international transactions.
  • 5 years of leadership experience, preferably in professional services or law firms.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems such as Aderant, Blackline, and Concur.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.
  • Advanced technical and analytical skills with strategic vision for process improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
