Hedge Fund Private Credit Operations

Overview

• Join a dynamic investment operations team supporting private credit and BDC portfolios.
• Gain exposure to private debt, bank loans, credit facilities, and liability management.
• Collaborate on trade support, reconciliations, treasury operations, and data management.
• Learn middle-market loan operations, fund finance, and BDC workflows.
• Participate in onboarding new fund structures and credit facilities.
• Develop skills in pro-forma modeling and fund-level liquidity projections.
• Contribute to process improvements enhancing operational efficiency.
• Work closely with fund administrators and trading counterparties.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Support daily operations for credit funds under senior staff guidance.
• Assist in closing transactions for BDC, private credit, and direct lending vehicles.
• Negotiate operational terms in credit agreements and loan servicing documents.
• Manage cash, position, and P&L reconciliations across systems.
• Collaborate with deal teams to gather legal support for new deals.
• Maintain dashboards and reports for executive leadership.
• Propose asset allocation strategies to optimize capital deployment.
• Resolve breaks with fund administrators and trading counterparties.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial operations or fund administration.
• Exposure to BDCs or private credit operations preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Bloomberg, Geneva, OMS, and WSO systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of fund finance and middle-market loan operations.
