Job Description

Overview

  • Manage construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee tenant-facing projects, providing professional interaction and effective communication.
  • Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure project delivery.
  • Analyze project plans and building codes to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to team members, fostering professional growth.
  • Implement solutions for structural and tenant-specific needs in industrial and office interiors.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues like ADA compliance and building stabilization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee 35-40 million square feet of real estate projects.
  • Manage tenant improvement projects, including structural support and interior modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, addressing ADA issues and stabilization needs.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, comparing pricing and overseeing contract execution.
  • Address capital projects, including replacements and building stabilization efforts.
  • Provide professional tenant interactions and maintain high communication standards.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Implement solutions for ground-up and interior projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required; Construction Management degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in reading plan sets and understanding building codes.
  • Experience managing industrial and office interior projects.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for tenant-facing interactions and team collaboration.
  • Knowledge of ADA compliance and building stabilization techniques.
