Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Collaborate with project designers and managers to develop construction documents aligning with design objectives.
- Lead technical aspects of projects, transforming design concepts into precise construction documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, builders, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met effectively.
- Conduct code reviews and liaise with officials for project approvals.
- Facilitate owner/user meetings during design development phases to integrate requirements accurately.
- Perform construction administration duties, including reviewing shop drawings and overseeing installations.
- Collaborate with specification writers to meet technical project requirements.
- Contribute to quality reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in architecture; 10 years preferred.
- Architectural Registration and LEED AP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Suite, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong design thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting and collaborating effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in healthcare architecture projects is a plus.
