Overview

  • Develop and enhance Power BI reports, transforming Excel-based data into impactful visualizations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Optimize data models and calculations for improved performance and usability.
  • Provide training to end-users for effective utilization of BI tools and reports.
  • Support data maintenance applications using low-code technologies like Power Apps.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the analytics ecosystem through best practices and mentoring.
  • Ensure data governance and quality across reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and manage BI presentation layers for consistent organizational reporting.
  • Build and optimize Power BI data models adhering to industry standards.
  • Streamline datasets and calculations for enhanced reporting efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain complex dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Implement policies for data governance and quality assurance.
  • Train users on BI tools and reporting functionalities.
  • Mentor team members and promote BI best practices.
  • Collaborate with overseas resources for project management and execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power BI development and dashboard maintenance.
  • Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and SQL; Snowflake experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
  • Experience with ETL technologies and low-code applications like Power Apps.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Buy-side firm experience and credit expertise are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with overseas resources effectively.
