Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Process payroll for union and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing and payment runs.
- Assist in reconciling payroll reports and supplier statements, addressing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and employee data.
- Respond to inquiries regarding payroll and accounts payable processes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Support year-end payroll tasks and reporting requirements.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and system proficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree required, preferably in finance or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in payroll and accounts payable roles.
- Preferred 3 years of experience in financial administration or similar roles.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; familiarity with Banner Administrative System is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work on-site five days a week, adhering to set hours.
