Job Description

Overview

  • Assist in managing construction projects focused on ground-up or tenant improvement for light industrial facilities.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Provide technical support and problem-solving assistance to the project team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing construction projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment required for project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and oversee their performance on-site.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports and financial records.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve technical issues and optimize project outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ground-up and tenant improvement construction processes.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in construction.
