Job Description

Overview

  • Provide applied behavior analysis services to children in school settings, ensuring effective intervention and positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on functional behavior assessments and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals to create comprehensive support systems for clients.
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical standards and stay updated on best practices in behavior analysis.
  • Travel within Nassau County as needed to provide services and consultations.
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment focused on client success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide direct supervision and training to behavior technicians.
  • Collaborate with families and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Collect and analyze data to measure progress and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis.
  • Travel within Nassau County to provide services and consultations as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in applied behavior analysis; 2 years preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Dedication to improving the lives of clients and their families.
  • Ability to travel within Nassau County as required.
