Overview
- Provide professional nursing care in labor and delivery settings, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Monitor and assess patients during labor and delivery, providing timely interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting care and progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide emotional and physical support to patients and families during childbirth.
- Participate in fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards in all procedures.
- Support and mentor junior nursing staff and students in clinical practices.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in perinatal nursing; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC.
- Strong understanding of fetal heart monitoring and neonatal care practices.
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous but not required.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
