Overview
- Lead the design and development of cloud-native applications within a hybrid work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and efficient solutions.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of microservices and serverless technologies.
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to development teams.
- Evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies to enhance organizational capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for cloud applications.
- Support the full lifecycle of system development projects from inception to deployment.
- Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, design patterns, and system configurations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide technical leadership for cloud application development projects aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and communicate design patterns and technical specifications for cloud applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and tools based on organizational needs.
- Implement best practices for reliability, security, and performance in cloud applications.
- Contribute hands-on to coding and development tasks as required.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and AppSecOps teams to enhance development processes.
- Lead efforts to standardize development processes and improve security posture.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud-native application design and development.
- Proficiency in AWS Cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Experience with microservices, serverless architectures, and containerization.
- Strong knowledge of Python/Django and data-intensive libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead development teams and mentor junior developers.
- CFA or FRM certification preferred.
