Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operational management for a dynamic orthopedic practice, ensuring seamless administrative and clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic growth and optimize patient care experiences.
  • Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations and financial performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement policies to enhance efficiency and satisfaction across multiple practice locations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, identifying areas for operational improvement.
  • Support future expansion initiatives and service line development.
  • Ensure the practice adheres to HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and state healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct administrative and operational activities, including scheduling, billing, and facilities management.
  • Streamline clinical workflows to maximize provider productivity and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute business strategies.
  • Evaluate opportunities for partnerships and new practice locations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor administrative and support staff across departments.
  • Monitor financial performance and participate in budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and oversee quality improvement programs.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and champion professional development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or Business Administration required; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of management experience in a medical or surgical practice.
  • Proven leadership and operational management skills in healthcare settings.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Athena or Epic.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
  • Orthopedic or specialty practice experience is strongly preferred.
