Overview
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in a behavioral health setting, ensuring safety and therapeutic support.
- Assess patients' physical and psychological conditions, contributing to individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and interventions.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct ongoing assessments of patients' health conditions and document findings accurately.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and interventions.
- Assist in crisis management and provide support during emergency situations.
Job Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required.
- Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment modalities.
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery care models.
- Valid CPR certification and crisis management skills.
- Experience in psychiatric or substance use disorder inpatient care preferred.
- Ability to manage stressful situations professionally and effectively.
