Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Clinical Coordinator, providing education and logistical support for patients and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely therapy initiation and adherence.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe and effective therapy use using approved materials.
  • Support compliance with therapy through relationship building with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist patients in navigating insurance, financial support, and medication access challenges.
  • Contribute to regional and national initiatives, including training and advocacy group alliances.
  • Work in a remote capacity with a minimum of 50% travel required.
  • Provide dynamic presentations to various audiences, enhancing understanding and engagement.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate therapy initiation and adherence activities for patients enrolled in RareConnections.
  • Secure HIPAA consent and educate patients on therapy coverage and access processes.
  • Collaborate with specialty pharmacy nursing teams for home infusion therapy support.
  • Report adverse events and product complaints in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Influence team strategies and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and best practices.
  • Provide disease and product administration education to patients and clinic staff.
  • Collaborate with field teams to resolve access challenges pre- and post-infusion.
  • Act as a liaison for advocacy groups and contribute to field training efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or allied health professional education required.
  • 6+ years of pharmaceutical experience as a patient educator preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to adapt and lead solutions in dynamic environments.
  • Spanish fluency preferred for enhanced patient communication.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 50% field travel.
  • Experience in a team environment and managing cross-functional communications.
