Overview
- Collaborate with divisional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance across multiple entities.
- Contribute to month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Maintain organized workpapers and documentation for internal reviews and audits.
- Support ERP system optimization efforts, including testing and user training.
- Assist in preparing financial reporting packages for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in accounting workflows.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and maintain uniform processes across entities.
- Work closely with the Assistant Controller to meet deadlines and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts for multiple divisions.
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries, including accruals and depreciation.
- Coordinate with divisional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely month-end close.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
- Assist in compiling monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.
- Promote consistency and enforce accounting policies across entities.
- Contribute to ERP system optimization, including testing and documentation.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience; 2 years preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial modules.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with month-end close processes and reconciliations.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and divisions.
