Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead validation and candidate nomination phases of oncology research programs.
• Design and execute complex biological experiments independently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug discovery projects.
• Oversee external in vivo pharmacology studies and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Identify and validate novel drug targets for therapeutic development.
• Develop and implement biomarker strategies for translational applications.
• Mentor scientists and foster a collaborative research environment.

Job Requirements

• PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of drug discovery experience in an industry setting.
• Proven track record in leading oncology drug discovery programs.
• Proficiency in molecular and cellular biology techniques.
• Experience in matrixed environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to design and execute complex biological experiments independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
