Overview

• Serve as a pivotal contributor transforming design concepts into precise construction documents for impactful architectural projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of design and technical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and construction feasibility throughout all project phases.
• Participate in client and user meetings to accurately incorporate project needs into designs.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project execution.
• Perform construction administration tasks, including reviewing and approving shop drawings.
• Contribute to quality assurance processes ensuring technical precision and compliance.
• Support project management efforts and assist in achieving project success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop detailed construction documents aligning with design objectives and project specifications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and liaise with officials to secure necessary approvals.
• Coordinate quality reviews and ensure technical accuracy in collaboration with project teams.
• Lead client and user meetings during design phases to address project requirements effectively.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Review shop drawings and approve them for compliance with design specifications.
• Perform construction administration duties, addressing challenges and ensuring project continuity.
• Assist project managers in achieving overall project objectives and maintaining timelines.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required; advanced degree preferred.
• Registered architect with 4-6 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in developing construction documents and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and construction feasibility considerations.
• Effective communication skills for leading meetings and presenting updates.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Licensed in Ohio with a commitment to architectural excellence.
